Nikki A.S.H. has been one of the mainstays of the women’s division in WWE for a long time. After facing a lot of adversity when it comes to booking and not being used well on the main roster, Cross finally underwent a change on an episode of Monday Night RAW back in June.

Nikki A.S.H. cashed in her Money In The Bank briefcase on Charlotte Flair back in July and became the RAW Women’s Champion. Fans were certainly delighted at this. A.S.H. eventually lost the title and since then, has been teaming up with Rhea Ripley on Monday Night RAW.

While speaking on Legion of RAW, former WWE writer Vince Russo criticized Nikki A.S.H.’s current booking in WWE and suggested that she should have been booked like the popular Marvel character Deadpool instead of The Powerpuff Girls.

”Vince McMahon just does not get it. She will be be a superhero for the children, so she will be a Powerpuff Girl. I’m gonna fight till the end and I’m never gonna give up and all that stuff. That really is not what a superhero character should be in 2021. What’s the superhero character who is totally a crazy? Deadpool! That is what she should have been booked as.

That is the kind of superhero who would have been over in 2021. She should have been a female version of Deadpool. That would have gotten her over with the children and it would have been enough for the adults. But Vince decided to go down the Powerpuff girls route for some reason or another.”

We will have to wait and see if WWE will decide to alter Nikki A.S.H.’s character somewhere down the line, as it seems highly unlikely at this point in time.
