John Cena is regarded as one of the greatest superstars of all time. The face that runs the place carried the company on his back for almost 15 years. Cena then moved on to Hollywood to pursue his acting aspirations. However, it seems like Big match John might be eyeing to return to the ring to battle Logan Paul.

The 16-time World Champion is rumored to work WrestleMania 39, with Ringside News exclusively reporting that he has spoken to the WWE’s higher-ups for the same.

Cena even acknowledged Logan Paul’s performance at WWE Crown Jewel with a cryptic post featuring his image. Logan Paul responded by using the eyes emoji in reference to a headline that stated that Big Match John was seeking a WrestleMania opponent. He further elaborated about facing The Cenation Leader at WrestleMania on his ImPAULsive podcast:

“That’s my dream. I’ve proven the model twice now. I’ve proven the model of; headstrong capable internet kid vs. a GOAT, a top-tier industry leader. Floyd (Mayweather). That worked. Generated $65-70 million dollars. Reigns. Crown Jewel became the number one most-viewed international pay-per-view event WWE has ever had. I’ve done it twice. The reason is, when I’m paired with a legend, a top-tier industry leader, the model works. After Crown Jewel, John Cena posted me on his Instagram, and then I saw an article saying he’s looking for an opponent at WrestleMania. I favorited it, responded with the eyes. Truthfully, I think me vs. John Cena would break the internet. I texted Triple H right away, ‘do you want to break the internet again?’ That’s a dream match. WrestleMania, in LA, on my birthday. Triple H, throw me a bone, give me a birthday present, let me take out John Cena. That’d be crazy.”

Logan Paul looks to be already geared up for a showdown with John Cena, while still rehabilitating from the injury suffered at WWE Crown Jewel. Now, it seems that John Cena might have also considered stepping inside the ring with the YouTube sensation.

John Cena took to Instagram to post an image of Stone Cold with Logan Paul’s face imposed on it, hinting at their mega match to take place someday, further igniting the rumors of their impending match. In typical John Cena Instagram fashion, he provided no caption, but this image did have three interesting words on it.

“Stone Cold Someday.”

John Cena’s last WrestleMania match came in 2020 against The Fiend Bray Wyatt in a FireFly Fun House match. With the Showcase of the Immortals set take place under the bright lights of Hollywood next year, it now seems evident that The Champ would make his return to the squared circle, potentially against Logan Paul.

John Cena made his debut back in 2002, answering Kurt Angle’s open challenge, claiming to have enough Ruthless Aggression inside him. Cena then went on to become a marquee attraction and golden boy for the global juggernaut for nearly a decade and a half. After conquering every major accolade, John Cena moved to Hollywood and achieved success by starring in movies like Bumblebee and Fast 9.

Logan Paul impressed many fans with his performances so far, even earning a 4 1/2 star rating from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter for his Crown Jewel match against Roman Reigns. Only time will tell if WWE makes Logan Paul vs John Cena happen, but we can’t imagine of many bigger matches.
