The AEW All Out media scrum ended in pure disaster after CM Punk went on a scathing rant on Colt Cabana, Hangman Page, and The Young Bucks. CM Punk fired shots at Colt Cabana for being jealous of him, and even more things after that, like the fact that he shares a bank account with his mother. In fact, even John Morrison thinks Punk is obsessed with Cabana after everything that transpired.

CM Punk has not been seen on AEW television since All Out, as he is currently recovering from a triceps injury. His status in AEW remains under question even now, but he did recently provide positive update in that regard.

While speaking on the Bootleg Universe podcast, John Morrison talked about CM Punk’s scathing rant on Colt Cabana. Morrison stated that he believes Punk is simply obsessed with Cabana.

What I think is funny is how he dealt with it, because in some ways he just lashed out at the entire AEW roster. Whether they deserved it or not I don’t know, like from his point of view they did, from my point of view I would never personally say that about a lot of the roster just because I don’t think it’s good business. On the other hand, that’s what he’s known for and he just reverted to character like dropping pipe bombs right?

He’s upset and he just kind of reverts to like ‘I’m going to blow the whistle on MJF, on everybody I don’t like on this roster, like screw Colt Cabana.’ He’s obsessed with Colt Cabana. But like ‘screw everybody, like everything’s bothering me, I’m going to air it right now and call everyone on their crap.’”

AEW may also not release CM Punk due to lot of issues. We will have to wait and see what will become of Punk in the end. If anything, this situation is very interesting after Colt Cabana’s surprise AEW Dynamite appearance where he took on Chris Jericho for the ROH World Title, and talks of AEW buying out CM Punk’s contract.
