CM Punk underwent surgery in September to repair a torn left triceps sustained during the AEW All Out pay-per-view. Punk’s doctor at the time advised that the surgery be performed as soon as possible to avoid muscle atrophy. According to existing research, the average recovery time after that kind of surgery is eight months.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has now provided an update on CM Punk’s condition. It is reported that Punk’s recovery is going very well, just two months after his surgery.

As previously reported, CM Punk recently provided an update on his foot injury. Since his involvement in the infamous backstage brawl at All Out, CM Punk has disappeared from social media. All of that changed on Thursday when the veteran wrestler posted an encouraging message on his Instagram stories.

The post included a screenshot of Punk’s training summary, as well as an encouraging update on the foot injury he suffered in June 2022. Punk also shared words of wisdom with others dealing with a similar injury via the post.
