Samoa Joe is a veteran of the business and there’s no arguing that. Joe has made name a for himself dropping opponents and winning titles around the world. The Ring of Honor World Television Champion alluded to his in-ring interaction with a veteran manager during Dynamite tonight.

Samoa Joe was interviewed by Tony Schiavone during Dynamite tonight. The ROH World TV Champion explained why he betrayed Wardlow during a previous episode of Dynamite. Joe dropped a major Paul Heyman reference, by threatening to drop Schiavone with a Coquina Clutch.

“You remind me of an old colleague of mine named Paul, but I hope our interactions go better tonight than they went with him.”

For those wondering, Joe was referring to his interaction with Paul Heyman that transpired during the ROH World Television Champion’s feud with Brock Lesnar during his time in WWE. Check out the video here:
