Samoa Joe Turns On Wardlow During AEW Dynamite

Samoa Joe and Wardlow saw their interests aligned against The Embassy and that led to them forming an unlikely alliance called “WarJoe.” Tonight, the team imploded as Joe turned on his partner.

Wardlow squared off against Ari Daivari in singles action during Dynamite tonight. Mr. Mayhem destroyed The Richest Man in Professional Wrestling in mere minutes. Wardlow then called out Powerhouse Hobbs.

The TNT Champion cut a promo on Hobbs with Joe standing behind him. Hobbs appeared on the ramp as well. Wardlow said the TNT title will always be his and he’ll take every title in the promotion to prove his point.

Wardlow’s comments irked Joe who hit the big man with the ROH World Championship strap. Joe then proceeded to choke out Mr. Mayhem and left him unconscious inside the ring.

AEW had previously teased a physical confrontation between the two as well. With WarJoe officially done, we’ll have to wait to see if Wardlow and Samoa Joe settle their difference with a double title match at a future date.
