Saraya Posts Picture Of Her Family’s Reaction To Hearing News Of Her Medical Clearance

Saraya, formely known as Paige, became the latest example of a miraculous comeback from injury in the pro wrestling industry. She recently got medical clearance for her devastating neck injury that took away her wrestling aspirations. Furthermore, Saraya has gone to post a picture of her and her family’s reactions to the news.

Saraya posted a reaction picture on Instagram story of her and her family the day they got the good news of Saraya getting clearance to return to wrestling.

“The reaction faces of me and my family when I told I got cleared.”

Saraya started her wrestling career as a teenager in her father’s promotion in Norway, England. She then joined the WWE in 2012, rising up the ranks in NXT and was regarded as the pioneer to kick star the Women’s Revolution. The former Anti-Diva debuted on the main roster in 2014, the night after WrestleMania XXX, winning the WWE Divas Championship from AJ Lee on her first night on RAW.

The former 3-time Divas Champion continued to wrestle against the likes of Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Nikki Bella until she suffered a nasty kick to the back during a WWE house show by Sasha Banks in 2017. This marked the end of her in-ring career and she announced her official retirement in April 2018.

Saraya continued to serve under various non-wrestling roles in the WWE, until July 2022 when she would released by the company. The former Paige made her AEW debut in September 2022, engaging in a feud with Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D and in a few months, she got medically cleared for her spinal stenosis injury.

Saraya is all set to step inside the squared circle after 4 years, against Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D at AEW’s next pay-per-view Full Gear. This will mark the first time that she will compete in a wrestling match since the WWE house show in 2017. Fans are already thrilled to see the former Anti-Diva’s return to the ring from a career-threatening injury.
