According to Fightful’s paywall, Mustafa Ali is still part of the Monday Night RAW roster, despite competing in the SmackDown World Cup.

Mustafa Ali was announced for the Smackdown World Cup, but not so fast on him becoming a full time roster member for now.

We’re told by WWE sources that at this moment, Mustafa Ali is still a member of the Raw roster, and is supposed to work both Raw and Smackdown during the tourney. We weren’t given a reason as to why Ali was brought in as opposed to using a Smackdown talent.

We will have to wait and see how Mustafa Ali will fare in the SmackDown World Cup. Fans would love to see him do something substantial like winning the tournament as well
