The AEW All Out media scrum made headlines for all the wrong reasons after CM Punk went on a scathing rant on Colt Cabana, Hangman Page, and The Young Bucks. AEW’s reputation took a hit because of that and many blamed CM Punk for being egotistical. Punk was also blasted by Eric Bischoff recently once again.

Everyone involved in the brawl was suspended, except Ace Steel, who was fired. While Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks are set to return at AEW Full Gear, CM Punk remains suspended as he recovers from his triceps injury.

While speaking to Wrestling Inc, Eric Bischoff talked about CM Punk’s pro wrestling status. Easy E blasted CM Punk for being fragile and made it clear that he sees no value in Punk.

”He’s old, he’s fragile, he was never in great shape to begin with, he didn’t start out as an athlete, and now at [44] years old, he’s fragile as hell,” Bischoff said.”…I’m sure he still has some die-hard fans out there and all that, everybody does, but the general audience, I think he left a really bad taste in their mouth, and they realize that that mystique is no longer there, and he’s just another guy. So I don’t see the value. I can’t imagine it.”

AEW is also selling new CM Punk merchandise despite his suspension. It remains to be seen whether CM Punk will end up returning to AEW somewhere down the line or not.
