It’s almost time for AEW Full Gear, because November 19th will be here before we know it. This year’s professional wrestling pay-per-view event appears to be facing tough competition. AEW Full Gear is held every year around Veterans Day, and Marvel has the same plan for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever for this year.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, directed by Ryan Coogler and produced by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore, will be released in theaters on November 11th, 2022. This film will undoubtably be a box office juggernaut as fans flock to the theaters, so they can see how the franchise will proceed without Chadwick Boseman.

According to recent reports, the film had an impact on AEW Full Gear’s theater screenings, something they’ve done for couple of years now. Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that Full Gear will be in fewer theaters than last time due to the big Marvel film.

Yes they are [showing Full Gear in theaters], but they won’t be in as many movie theaters as before, because that’s the weekend of Black Panther comes out, so that’s where most of the people will be going to the movies that week. They will be in a few theaters, but not as many as last time.

The world lost a great performer, friend, and humanitarian in August 2020. Sadly, Chadwick Boseman passed away from complications from colon cancer, leaving a significant void for his admirers across the world who saw him up on the big screen as King T’Challa, ruler of Wakanda and the heroic Black Panther. Everyone who loved him both on and off the screen, in real life, and as an actor, was shocked to learn of his demise.

The cast and creative team of Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever were obviously more startled and devastated than others. Despite this, they were able to overcome all obstacles and managed to present another Black Panther film to the world. Let’s see how the movie does without Boseman.

On the other hand, AEW is still plugging away as they try to hype Full Gear as the dust still settles from the drama caused by the All Out media scrum.
