WWE Blasted For Botching Rhea Ripley’s Booking On RAW

Rhea Ripley certainly put in lot of work in order to become one of the top Superstars in WWE’s women’s division. Her efforts were fruitful, because she is already a multi-time champion in the company. WWE was also blasted for how they booked Ripley on RAW this week.

As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Karl Anderson faced off against Damian Priest in a singles match. Ripley got involved in the match as she distracted the referee, assisting Priest.

Karl Anderson still managed to win in the end. While speaking on Legion of RAW, Vince Russo noted how Rhea Ripley’s actions ‘buried’ the referee as she couldn’t control the situation. He blasted WWE for how they booked Ripley on the show.

“What happened in that match? [Rhea] Ripley low blow, the referee looks like an idiot. I want to point something out here about the referee because I think this is very important. They have a black, female referee in this match, which is great, phenomenal. Here’s the problem, If you want to get over the fact that we’ve got a female referee, you’ve got to make her look strong.

At the end of this match, there’s all chaos going on inside the ring. This poor girl who’s supposed to be the official with the authority is on the outside of the ring, waving her arms over and over like a lunatic.”

The O.C. is set to face off against Judgment Day at WWE Crown Jewel on November 5th. It remains to be seen whether The O.C. will win the match or not.
