She was eventually released by WWE back in 2017. Following her release, she went on to work in various promotions, including Impact Wrestling – where she saw moderate success.

Emma returned to WWE last Friday night on SmackDown. The Australian answered Ronda Rousey’s open challenge for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Emma lost the match after Rousey made her tap out to the armbar. Following the conclusion of her match, Emma took to Twitter and made it clear that she is finally back home.
