Malakai Black Drops Cryptic Tease During AEW Absence

Malakai Black was released from WWE back in June last year, after a very disappointing stint on the main roster. When he debuted in AEW the month after that, thanks to a paperwork mistake on WWE’s part, and fans were simply elated to see him there.

Black was the leader of the House Of Black alongside Brody King and Buddy Matthews and found some mild success for a while. As previously reported, AEW has given conditional release to Malakai Black, because of his own mental well-being.

However, Black then went on a rant on social media and claimed that he was not released from AEW. It seems there is truth to that as he took to Instagram and uploaded a tease featuring the House Of Black.

Tony Khan isn’t granting AEW releases right now, so that release request was nixed. Regardless, we will have to wait and see when he will return to AEW.
