Ric Flair and Bret Hart are two of the greatest to lace their boots inside the squared circle and there’s no denying that. The two legends of the business had classics against each other. As a matter of fact, The Hitman won his first WWE Championship by defeating The Nature Boy at a WWE House Show way back in 1992.

During a recent episode of “To Be The Man” podcast, Flair talked about a heartfelt message he got from Bret Hart on the anniversary of the big match, which took place in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, on October 12, 1992. Check out Flair’s comments below.

“I just talked to him the other day on the anniversary of that. He sent me the nicest text saying that was the biggest day of his career, so he felt good about it. That’s all that matters.”

Flair had previously developed heat with Hart due to the latter’s criticism of wrestlers such as Seth Rollins, Goldberg and Triple H. The two have since reconciled, with The Nature Boy claiming that he’s best friends with The Hitman.

The Hitman was in attendance for Ric Flair’s retirement match as well. It appears that the two have finally moved on from their beef and that is what matters in the end. That being said, check out their match from October 12, 1992, below.
