Nikkita Lyons & Zoey Stark Screwed Out Of NXT Women’s Tag Team Title Win

Nikkita Lyons and Zoey Stark are on the chase for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles, but it is quite a journey for the two. They were nixed from the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title tournament, and this week was a tough time for them as well.

This week’s episode of WWE NXT started off with a Women’s Tag Team Title match. Katana Chance and Kayden Carter played the heels, and they really pulled one over on the two babyfaces.

There was a spot in the match where Lyons and Stark appeared to win the titles. Then it was revealed that an unseen tag caused the match to re-start. That happy moment of celebration was short-lived, and they had to continue.

It didn’t take very long for Katana Chance to score a pinfall and retain the titles. This was a heartbreaking finish for Nikkita Lyons and Kayden Carter, but the journey is likely not over for them by a long show.
