Goldberg is certainly a legend in the pro wrestling business, especially making a name for himself during WCW. Goldberg previously admitted that he regretted not appreciating pro wrestling in the past, but that has all changed now.

Goldberg was the biggest star in WCW for many and was the face of the company during the Monday Night Wars. He eventually debuted in WWE back in 2003 but left the next year.

In the past, WWE did not like stars who came from promotions such as WCW or TNA. While speaking on the Roman Atwood podcast, Goldberg opened up about being an outsider in WWE when he first came to the company.

“My relationship with WWE has never been a 100% on the up and up because I worked for a company that was competing against them in the Monday Night Wars, and I had the title, right? So I don’t expect them ever to treat me like one of their own. I just don’t.”

WWE also didn’t want Goldberg to be champion for long. We will have to wait and see whether Goldberg will make his return to WWE television.
