Tatum Paxley and Lola Vice aren’t just adding two more names to SmackDown. Their arrivals could send other WWE stars packing for RAW.
With Paxley already making the jump and Vice expected to follow her, WrestleVotes reports that WWE is expected to start shifting talent from SmackDown to RAW within roughly the next month as the company tries to even out both rosters.
The subject came up during an August 10 Q&A when Joey Votes was specifically asked whether WWE could move people in the opposite direction to make room for the incoming NXT talent. His answer made it sound like that’s exactly what’s coming.
“I would say so. That happens within the next month or so. They are gonna try to even out the rosters, especially with at least two talents coming up. So that’s gonna happen.”
And one of those call-ups is already here. Tatum Paxley made her SmackDown debut on August 7 in about the biggest spot WWE could’ve given her. And she’s apparently not coming alone. Lola Vice finished up with NXT last week and is also expected to make the jump to SmackDown, giving the blue brand at least two incoming talents in a very short period.
Now WWE has to find room for them. WrestleVotes didn’t reveal who could be leaving SmackDown or how many wrestlers might ultimately switch brands. But with at least two talents moving up, the expectation is that WWE won’t simply keep stacking one roster while leaving the other untouched.
Someone is apparently going the other way. And if the timeline holds, fans may not have to wait long to find out who.
