During the post-AEW All Out media scrum, CM Punk went ballistic on Colt Cabana, Hangman Page, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks. Things only got worse from then onwards.

CM Punk got into an altercation with The Elite and this also involved Ace Steel, who was said to have thrown steel chair that hit Nick Jackson in the eye. Steel even went absolutely ballistic.

As previously reported, Ace Steel is no longer with AEW following the brawl. Speaking on Jim Cornette’s Drive Thru podcast, Cornette accused AEW of firing Steel to make some people happy.

“Ace Steel has won it, from what we can tell. Did most of the damage, whatever that was left over that Punk did not do, Steel did. He’s not the main event star, he’s not the World Champion, he’s not the guy that drew million-dollar gates. So, I guess they gotta do something to make some people happy.”

His release came as a shock to him as well. Ace Steel’s AEW firing was also no-brainer. We’ll have to see what’s next with Ace Steel, as it is likely he will not have any trouble finding a job elsewhere.
