Jake Crist Celebrates Huge Milestone For His Sobriety

Jake Crist used to work in Impact Wrestling and established himself as one of the mainstays there. He went back to the company last year, but did not really stay all that long. He’s been on quite a journey since his Impact exit, and the oVe member has great personal news to share.

Crist is a former X-Division Champion as well. Just like anyone else in the world, Jake Crist had his own fair share of personal demons to deal with. For him, it was alcohol addiction.

The former Impact Wrestling star took to Twitter and officially announced that he has been alcohol-free for two years now and penned an emotional message along with it.

Two year anniversary of being alcohol free!!!

When you struggled with alcohol abuse and you decided to take the necessary steps to get help or to make an effort to quit, to see yourself looking at a two year anniversary it feels like you can accomplish anything and that exactly how I feel right now! I’m so happy and proud of myself and the fact that, NO ONE CAN TAKE THIS AWAY FROM ME IS THE BEST FEELING ON EARTH!

To anyone that needs a little help or some guidance don’t hesitate to reach out, what helped me was wanting it for ME not anyone else, I feel like you have to want to stop, can’t be for someone else , it has to be for YOU.

Crist worked in Impact Wrestling between 2017-2020 and won the IMPACT Tag Team Championship in 2017 and the X Division Championship. We’ll have to see what’s next in store for Crist.
