Jake Crist used to work in Impact Wrestling and established himself as one of the mainstays there. He went back to the company last year but did not really stay all that long. He now has set title belts on fire for an interesting reason.

Jake Crist recently took to social media and uploaded a video where he called out IWA Mid-South owner Ian Rotten, claiming that he hasn’t been paid, a month after an appearance for the promotion.

The former Impact Wrestling poured gasoline over championship belts he held for the promotion before cutting to a shot of the titles on fire.

Crist’s video has since been shared by quite a few wrestlers including former NXT star Nash Carter, who urged promoters to ‘Pay your talent’ in a now-deleted tweet.

Crist worked in Impact Wrestling between 2017-2020 and won the IMPACT Tag Team Championship in 2017 and the X Division Championship. We’ll have to see what’s next in store for Crist.
