Ezekiel’s Storyline Was Dropped As Soon As Triple H Became Head Of WWE Creative

After a long hiatus since August of last year, Elias return during a previous episode of Monday Night RAW, as Elias came back as his younger brother Ezekiel. After that, a series of amusing events unfolded.

Ever since Ezekiel came to Monday Night RAW, everyone has accepted that he is Elias’ younger brother. However, Kevin Owens didn’t believe it and ended up feuding with him.

Triple H took over as WWE’s head booker and dropped the angle altogether, as he wasn’t even listed on the internal roster. According to the Wrestling Observer, Triple H dropped the Ezekiel character almost instantly after coming to power.

”Elias returns on RAW on 10/17. He needed time off to grow back his beard and hair from the Ezekiel character. HHH pretty much dropped Ezekiel as soon as he got power.”

We will have to wait and see how Elias will be booked once he returns to Monday Night RAW next week.
