USA Network hasn’t been too happy with Monday Night RAW’s ratings in recent years, especially during the NFL season. However, that opinion has changed with the season premiere of RAW

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, USA Network are reportedly ‘thrilled’ with RAW’s recent ratings performance. Dave Meltzer also added that the Network could be ‘reading too much into the season premiere and a show based around nostalgia which generally draws good numbers.

Meltzer further added that Bray Wyatt’s return could have contributed to the boost in viewership for this week’s episode. The season premiere of WWE RAW saw an average viewership of 1,824,00 viewers, which is up 14 percent from the week prior. In the key 18-49 demographic, RAW scored a rating of 0.55 which is a 38 percent boost from the week prior.

This week’s episode of RAW was an exciting one that featured the return of Brock Lesnar and The Good Brothers. It will be interesting to see if the ratings increase in the upcoming weeks.
