Bryan Danielson took on defending champion Chris Jericho for the ROH World Championship during AEW Dynamite tonight. Chris Jericho brought back his “Lion Heart” gimmick for the ROH World Championship match against Bryan Danielson in Toronto, Canada.

The closing moments of the match saw referee Paul Turner inadvertently knocked out, allowing Matt Menard to hand over the ROH title to Chris Jericho. Daniel Garcia came to the ring and took the strap from Jericho, only to hit Bryan Danielson to the head with it himself.

Chris Jericho retained the title and celebrated with Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard and Angelo Parker in the ring. The group dispersed after William Regal, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta entered the ring.
