Saraya Medically Cleared For In-Ring Action

Saraya was Paige in WWE, but she was left with no choice but to retire from in-ring competition in 2017 and that brought about a lot of changes in general. She remained relevant in other roles for years after that, but she never wrestled again.

The first-ever NXT Women’s Champion left the company back in July after WWE decided not to renew her contract for some reason. She then made her All Elite Wrestling debut during ‘Dynamite: Grand Slam.

On this week’s AEW Dynamite, Saraya got physical for the first time since signing with the company. After the women’s Trios match, Saraya went after Britt Baker, D.M.D. The two exchanged blows with the other women getting involved as well.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez noted that Saraya has been medically cleared for in-ring action.

Clearly, Saraya has been cleared because she’s in there brawling. Yeah, so wiped everybody out, they stood tall and that was the end of the segment.

We will have to wait and see how AEW will be booking Saraya in the coming weeks. It is likely she will be squaring off against Britt Baker soon enough.
