Dax Harwood is one-half of the team FTR. Together they are the current Ring of Honor, IWGP, and AAA Team Champions. They have held tag team gold in AEW and WWE. They’ve met a lot of men in the ring, but Claudio Catagnoli stands by himself.

Dax Harwood’s singles run has been great, and the talented superstar discussed those during The Ringer’s MackMania podcast. While he did talk about the match, he also talked about which top WWE star messaged him and Claudio after the match.

I might get him in trouble, but whatever, but after my match with Claudio, Randy Orton texts me and Claudio, and could not stop talking about how great the match was, and selling, and what’s missing in wrestling, He said that match is what’s missing. I love getting accolades

I love the fans caring about us, and loving us, and ranking us high, but when my peers and people I look up to are the ones who give us the accolades, that’s pretty cool.

Harwood and his tag team partner Cash Wheeler were quick to respond to the fact that they wanted to leave a mark in the tag team division with their work, and they are doing it quite well.

At the end of the day, you’re not going to convince me we’re not the absolute best

Wheeler said that Harwood and he wanted to be “untouchable” as a tag team. The two wanted to leave behind an archive of matches the next generation of wrestlers might study. They believe they are just getting better with age.

Time changed and what was considered a comical tag team by one of the biggest promoters in wrestling, who is now happily retired, they have proven that they are a force to be reckoned with.

Whether they continue as a singles superstar or join forces again a credible team is something worth watching every day. WWE didn’t give them what they wanted, but the new exposure is helping them immensely.
