Solo Sikoa showed up as Wes Lee’s replacement for the NXT North American Championship match last week on NXT 2.0. The Street Champion beat Carmelo Hayes for the title as well. Tonight, he was asked to do something unexpected.

Solo Sikoa and Carmelo Hayes opened tonight’s edition of NXT 2.0 with a backstage segment. Shawn Michaels was featured in the segment as well. The Heartbreak Kid asked Sikoa to vacate the title.

Shawn Michaels said Solo Sikoa wasn’t a qualified competitor when he showed up to challenge Carmelo Hayes for the North American Championship last week on NXT.

Sikoa reluctantly vacated the title and left the room. Michaels told Hayes that he and four other men will fight for the title in a ladder match at Halloween Havoc next month.
