Ricochet is regarded as one of the best in-ring competitors in WWE. His excellent series of matches against John Morrison on Monday Night RAW back in July of last year raised his stock in the eyes of fans.

Carmelo Hayes put his title on the line against Ricochet at NXT Worlds Collide. After a blistering contest, it was Carmela Hayes who won the match. This marked Ricochet’s return to NXT after a few years.

While speaking with NBC Sports Boston, Ricochet discussed the turmoil the brand has experienced over the past year. Ricochet stated that he believes NXT will see a lot of improvement.

“I think, again in this business, it’s forever. It doesn’t stop. They’re just trying something new, they’re trying something different and I think it was just so sudden and so quick that people didn’t get a chance to adjust. So now I think changing again, not back to what it was but something different and something that I feel like will be better, because now I think they have the grasp on maybe bringing some Raw and SmackDown people in or some NXT people to Raw and SmackDown. It really might start being something bigger, who knows? I think it’s so cool to be thinking about the future and being excited to see what will come from it.”

We will have to wait and see how NXT will see improvement, now that they unveiled a new logo recently. Fans are certainly excited about it as well.
