Johnny Gargano Addresses Candice LeRae Making In-Ring Return

Johnny Gargano was touted as the heart and soul of NXT by many fans due to his excellent feuds with the likes of Tommaso Ciampa, Adam Cole and more. He also hinted at Candice LeRae making an in-ring return as well.

Gargano’s wife, Candice LeRae’s contract, was set to expire in the middle of this year. That is what happened in the end, as Candice LeRae officially became free agent back in May of this year.

While speaking on Out of Character with Ryan Satin, Johnny Gargano talked about his wife’s status in pro wrestling. Gargano hinted at LeRae making her return soon enough.

“I think she’s not sure yet. Obviously, this is a whole new adventure for her being a mom,” Johnny Gargano said. “And she’s extremely happy being a mom. I don’t know, it’s one of those things where we’ll see what happens on a weekly basis, but she is fully content staying at home with that baby. I obviously have realized my position in the house. I think it goes now Quill number one, Pawdme number two, and then I’m probably maybe a third on Candice’s love list right now.

“So I’ll take the number three spot. I’m four in my household, to be fair. It’s Quill, Pawdme, Candice, me. But yeah, I think she’s just very, very happy to be a mom, enjoying it to her extent. Like I said, you never know what happens when he gets older, obviously, but for right now, especially the first bit of his life. She is very, very happy to be with that little dude right now.”

Johnny Gargano is already back in WWE and having a great time there. Now it remains to be seen whether Candice LeRae will follow suit or not.
