As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Edge faced off against Dominik Mysterio in a singles match. It ended in disqualification after Judgment Day’s interference, before the faction targeted Edge’s leg with a steel chair.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer pointed out that Edge’s current contract with the company is only for a limited number of dates, adding that the company likely wrote him off television.

“The thing with Edge though is, because he’s got a limited contract so he’s not around weekly, it felt like this was another injury angle.”

Dominik Mysterio notably turned on Edge and his father Rey Mysterio at the September 3 Clash At The Castle premium live event. We will have to wait and see how their storyline will progress.
