Adam Page lost the AEW World Championship at Double Or Nothing, as he was unable to defeat CM Punk. After that, fans felt Adam Page was lacking in direction. He was also held responsible for AEW’s current plight.
CM Punk caused a lot of attention when he let loose during the AEW All Out media scrum. He buried the Young Bucks and Hangman Page while bringing up a lot of dirt about Colt Cabana.
A huge backstage fight broke out right after Punk left the media scrum. Ringside News exclusively reported that the AEW locker room is divided now. While speaking on the Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette blasted Adam Page and held him responsible for AEW’s current problems.
“I can’t even believe they put [Hangman] Page in the tournament, when there’s the weasel that started the whole thing on a public basis. And they reward him for being the instigator for their entire company falling apart by putting him back in the world title tournament.”
