AEW Isn’t Dropping The House Of Black Idea After Malakai Black’s Exit

Malakai Black became one of the biggest faces in AEW after his WWE release. The star was already popular because of his years in the WWE as Aleister Black, and he forged a unique identity for himself.

Black had great start in the company, but his entire run in the AEW roster didn’t live up to the promise. He recently got conditional release from the company despite how AEW usually handles their contracts.

AEW seems to be holding onto the House of Black as of now, however. The company filed a trademark application for ‘House of Black’ for the intents and purposes of merchandising.

Mark For: HOUSE OF BLACK trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of beanies; Hats; Shirts; T-shirts.

Malakai Black is now out of the picture, which just leaves Brody King and Buddy Matthews. He was set to appear in an indie show but pulled out last minute due to health-related issue. Let’s see what’s ahead for Black in the future.
