Max Dupri Teases Return Of LA Knight Gimmick

LA Knight wasted no time in making an impact when he debuted during NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day on February 14th, 2021. He underwent a huge change after being called up to the main roster, as he was then known as Max Dupri.

Knight debuted as part of the Maximum Male Models agency, with ma.çé and mån.sôör being the first two acquisitions of the agency. Eventually, Maxxine Dupri joined the fold as well.

As seen on this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, the male models teamed up with Los Lotharios and lost against Hit Row and the Street Profits.

Right after that, WWE uploaded an interesting video after the show, showing the Maximum Male Models moping in their locker room, before Max Dupri spoke, telling them that they have to ‘go through the day, to get to the night’. Before signing off with a soft ‘yeah’.

So it seems Max Dupri has now hinted at reverting back to his popular LA Knight gimmick. With Triple H in charge of WWE Creative, this could very well be happening soon.
