Malakai Black Still Listed On AEW Roster Page

Update: Malakai Black is still on the roster page, but it appears that he was moved out of place for some reason. It appears that they might be doing some editing. Keep checking back with Ringside News for this still-developing story.

Original: Malakai Black made his way to AEW after WWE released him. He was booked strong early on, defeating Cody Rhodes in a huge way, but then Black’s character went through a shift. Now it seems he has moved on.

The House of Black had big group hug after AEW All Out. Black also waved to fans and bowed to them before going backstage. This brought a lot of questions about his current situation.

We previously reported that Malakai Black is expected to take a long break from pro wrestling. It’s unclear how long he plans on being out of the ring, but it seems he is no longer with AEW.

The leader of the House of Black is no longer listed on AEW’s official roster page. His disappearance leads many to assume he is no longer under contract with the company.

It is interesting that Black departed AEW just after Triple H took control of WWE’s creative direction. Aleister Black was a favorite for Triple H, and Black’s wife, Zelina Vega, also works for the company. Only time will tell if Malakai Black really stays out of the ring for an extended break.
