Rey Mysterio and Edge won their match against The Judgement Day at WWE Clash at the Castle. Then, the celebration was interrupted by Dominick Mysterio, who attacked Mysterio’s partner before his own father. This was a shocking event that was a long time coming, but Rey Mysterio still has questions.
Rey was heartbroken while The Judgement Day members looked at the unfolded events with a smile on their faces. There was a buzz if Dominick would turn heel at the Castle show, and he did. Mysteiro took to Instagram and wrote a five-word caption about what transpired.
IN COMPLETE DENIAL!! WTF Son
Rey and Edge have worked as a tag team in the 2000s and even held a tag team championship at one point. Edge has been vocal about teaming with Rey Mysterio. During a previous edition of Raw Talk, The Rated-R Superstar opened up about the situation.
“This Saturday for the first time since Survivor Series 2002, me and Rey Rey, we’re gonna be a tag team again. For the first time in 20 years and there is something that happens when he and I are on the same side, there is something that happens when we tag, there is something that happens when we team together. It’s a special chemistry that you can’t manufacture, you can’t buy, it is real and it is there because we love each other and we are friends.”
Speculations are running high that Dominick will join The Judgement Day. There’s no clear indication as Dominick walked up the ramp after his attack by himself. We will have to wait and see how this story unfolds.
Edge’s story with The Judgement Day seems to be over after this win. He has a new nemesis in Dominick Mysterio. Only time will tell where this feud is heading after such an unexpected swerve in Cardiff.
Do you think Dominick should join The Judgement Day, or should he work as a singles performer? Sound off in the comments.
