Triple H Gets Huge Props For Shaking Things Up With Intense Seth Rollins & Matt Riddle Segment

Matt Riddle wasted no time in becoming highlight of WWE television after he finally inked a deal following an impressive stint on the indies. His in-ring skills and chill character work instantly made him a beloved star, but the Original Bro lost his cool on Monday.

Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle have been engaged in a very intense rivalry for the past couple of months. During this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Seth Rollins took a shot at Riddle’s real-life divorce during a heated interview segment on the show.

A lot has already changed in WWE since Triple H took over as head of Creative. While speaking on his Unlocking The Cage podcast, Jimmy Smith gave Triple H for shaking it up with the aforementioned segment on RAW.

“This is that, kind of, Triple H likes shaking it, up he really does. That’s why we’ve had stuff where, with Seth Rollins and Riddle, we started out a show, I’m doing the open, and they come brawling out of Gorilla. ‘Oh my God!’ I did another open, and they interrupted again with another brawl. It’s really difficult for me, because I’m always reacting to something, but it’s fresh. It’s different. Having two guys do an interview like they were, talking trash, we’ve all seen that before. To have this hot mic moment, it’s different. It’s interesting, it’s fresh.”

Matt Riddle will be squaring off against Seth Rollins at WWE Clash at the Castle. We will have to wait and see which Superstar will come out on top in the match, as it is certainly a highly anticipated bout.
