Matt Riddle Teaches Liv Morgan How To Counter Shanya Baszler’s ‘Kirifuda Clutch’ Finisher

Liv Morgan worked hard to become a mainstay in WWE’s women’s division. Morgan proved her doubters wrong when she won the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. She solidified herself as top star by beating Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Championship the very same night. She’s about to face a big challenge in the UK, but she has some help.

Liv Morgan’s next challenger is far more brutal and sadistic than The Baddest Woman on the Planet. Morgan will defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Shayna Baszler at Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, Wales, on September 3rd, 2022.

Morgan recently retweeted a video in which she can be seen training with Raw superstar Matt Riddle ahead of her big title defense in the U.K. The SmackDown Women’s Champion can be seen learning and perfecting a counter to the Kirifuda Clutch, which also happens to be Baszler’s finisher.
