Solo Sikoa made name for himself through his matches with the likes of Gunther, Carmelo Hayes, Cameron Grimes, and others on NXT 2.0. Most recently, the Samoan took on Von Vagner in a brutal Falls Count Anywhere Match.

Sikoa came out victorious after landing a frog splash on Vagner from the top rope through the announcer’s table. The victory, however, came at a cost as Sikoa was ruled out of further in-ring action due to PCL sprain.

This could be WWE’s way of writing off Solo Sikoa as they figure out main roster plans for him which, according to PW Insider, could happen in the immediate future.

There’s been a lot of talk over the last week within the WWE NXT circles that Solo Sikoa, 29, could be main roster bound in the very near future, possibly as soon as next month.

Sikoa has previously teased joining The Bloodline. He also revealed that WWE had plans for him on the main roster but that ended up being scrapped as well. We’ll have to wait and see what’s next in store for Solo Sikoa.
