Joaquin Wilde, Cruz Del Toro, Santos Escobar and Elektra Lopez solidified themselves as top players in Triple H’s version of NXT. Unfortunately, Escobar had to bid goodbye to the yellow brand last week on NXT 2.0. Wilde and Cruz on the other hand has got nothing to worry about because it looks like they are going to stay in NXT.

Dave Meltzer recently discussed Santos’ release from NXT on Wrestling Observer Radio. He also talked about Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro’s future on the yellow brand. According to Meltzer, Wilde and Cruz are very likely going to stay in NXT.

Meltzer also noted that both the stars did house shows over the weekend as a part of Tony D’Angelo’s stable. Apparently, this is how it’s going to move forward. Cruz has been around for at least six years in developmental, and he is really good, so it’s highly unlikely that WWE will release him.

What Joaquin Wilde and Cruz are going through, it looks like they are going to stay in NXT, not coming up if Santos is coming up. Because they did house shows over the weekend as part of Tony D’Angelo’s stable and it looks like that is how it is going to go down. But thinking about that, Cruz has been around for at least six years in developmental and he is really good.
