Big E had to overcome a lot of obstacles over the years throughout his time in WWE. He reached the top of the mountain by becoming the WWE Champion last year as well, but it didn’t last long. After a terrible neck injury. he is hopeful about making a full recovery.

Back in March, WWE fans were in for a huge shock when Big E was dumped on his head by Ridge Holland via belly-to-belly suplex on the outside of the ring. Big E was said to have suffered a broken neck due to the bump, and that sadly ended up being the case.

Big E then revealed that he will not be needing any surgery. E also shared very unfortunate update regarding his recovery. Things are getting better for Big E now thankfully.

While speaking on “Out of Character with Ryan Satin,” Big E provided an update on his recovery status. Big E revealed that he has no nerve issues or weakness.

“The issue right now is my C1 is not completely ossifying, it’s not completely forming at the bone.

It appears to be healing fibrously … It’s good enough that they’re not worried about me in my day-to-day life, they’re cool with clearing me, like I don’t need a brace anymore … But, I’m not cleared to, you know, be taking off and hitting suicide spears. They want to take a look at it again after a year … The upside is right now I have no nerve issues, there is no tingling, no weakness. I’ve been in the gym since two weeks after breaking my neck.”

Big E will also be content if he never wrestles again. It remains to be seen when the former WWE Champion will finally make his triumphant return to WWE television.
