WWE NXT UK Star Wild Boar Confirms His Release

The WWE has been busy with their NXT UK brand in the last few hours. It seems that the news of NXT UK folding has led to the beginning of some contract releases.

Wild Boar, who was a tag team partner with Primate in the group The Hunt, is the latest to be released by the company. The big man took to twitter today to confirm his release.

As of today I am no longer under contract with WWE. It’s been a wild experience and I’m thankful for everything it’s afforded me – I am excited for what’s next and I am BUZZING to get back in that ring and GO!

This news comes shortly after the report that Flash Morgan Webster was also granted his release. Earlier today, reports surfaced of the closing of NXT UK and the birth of NXT Europe.

It is assumed that with NXT UK shutting its doors that we may see more releases in the coming weeks. The brand, which began in 2018, was heavily featured on this past week’s NXT Heatwave special as they invaded the brand.
