Triple H Discussed Changing Doudrop’s Name After Taking Over WWE Creative

Doudrop was known as Piper Niven on NXT UK before making her WWE main roster debut. Many fans expected her to have the same name on the main roster, but that wasn’t the case. After adapting to her new name, she then had to face comparisons to Nia Jax.

Doudrop believed her name change was only temporary at first. Now that Eva Marie is no longer in WWE, many fans are anxious to see what she will do next as it is evident that Doudrop is here to stay.

With Triple H at the helm now, fans wonder if he will change her name back as well. While speaking with Inside the Ropes, Doudrop stated that she has spoken to The Game about a name change.

“I’ll give 100% full transparency about it, we did have a conversation about it… Because here’s the thing, before it was Vince’s vision, and now it’s Triple H’s vision. So it’s like ‘What’s your vision and where do you see this going, are you open to ideas?’

For me, I don’t mind either way. I would just like to make more deliberate steps going forward with [my] character. I feel like for the past little while, things have [been weird],” 

We will have to wait and see whether Triple H will end up changing Doudrop’s name or not. Regardless, we’ll have to see what is next in store for the young WWE Superstar.
