Santos Escobar Teases WWE Main Roster Call Up

Santos Escobar has been hanging his banner at NXT for quite a while now. He made a name for himself as the NXT Cruiserweight Champion and due to his impressive in-ring skills. He also hinted at getting a main roster call up.

He formed Legado del Fantasma alongside Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, Elektra Lopez. They competed against top teams as well as stars, including Escobar going after Bron Breakker for the NXT Championship.

While speaking at the WrestleMania 39 Launch Party alongside fellow NXT star Roxanne Perez and recent Performance Center signee Valerie Loureda, Escobar hinted at getting a main roster call up along with his faction.

“WrestleMania is the Grandest Stage of Them All. The Showcase of the Immortals. Do you know what I represent? I represent mi familia latina. I represent mi familia Mexicana and I represent lucha libre, which means that WrestleMania next year’s WrestleMania might just get grander because Santos Escobar and Legado del Fantasma might just make our WrestleMania debut and call this party Santos Mania!”

Legado del Fantasma is currently feuding with Tony D’Angelo and his cronies on NXT television. We will have to wait and see how their feud will progress in the coming weeks.
