Likely WWE Return Plans For Sasha Banks & Naomi

Sasha Banks and Naomi infamously walked out of WWE when things didn’t favor their position in the company. It opened up a can of worms and a lot happened since that fateful day.

Sasha Banks and Naomi seemingly confirmed their WWE exit after changing their social media. Fans were under the belief both of them were really done with the company. Some even believed they were going to AEW in the future.

With Triple H taking charge of WWE Creative, fans had hoped they would return. Banks and Naomi have already agreed to deal with WWE. WWE also started the Women’s Tag Team Titles tournament this week on Monday Night RAW.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Sasha Banks and Naomi are likely to return and compete in the Women’s Tag Team Title tournament as well.

On the Smackdown side they’ve announced Raquel & Aliyah vs. Shotzi & Xia Li and Nikkita Lyons & Zoey Stark of NXT vs. Natalya & Deville. Sky & Kai are the favorites. If they make the finals, it presumably won’t be on PPV since they already announced Sky & Kai for a trios match on 9/3. This being announced right as Naomi & Banks are expected back is probably not a coincidence and I guess the idea is for them not to be in the tournament and have them surprise appear later.

Banks and Naomi have already agreed to terms for WWE return. We will have to wait and see just when the two will finally return, as fans have been eagerly waiting for their comeback.
