Ric Flair finally got the opportunity to retire the way he wanted to. Rif Flair teamed up with his son-in-law Andrade El Idolo and faced Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett on July 31st, 2022.

Ric Flair took some scary bumps and even bled during the match, something that he promised to do prior to the match. Flair won the match by pinning Jeff Jarrett, much to the relief of fans around the world.

The Nature Boy took to Twitter and made it clear that he appreciates both Tony Khan and WWE. He also thanked them for making the match happen in the first place.

Sometimes The Media Chooses To Focus On The Less Important Things In A Podcast Like My Health Issue During The Match. I Want To Make It Very Clear That I Thank Tony Khan For His Wonderful Text Of Support, WWE For Their Participation & Allowing Jeff To Be Part Of The Show. Ric Flair also regrets promising his retirement with his last match. He also has a great relationship with Tony Khan and WWE. We will have to see what’s next in store for Flair.
