CM Punk Returns On AEW Dynamite This Week

CM Punk is the AEW World Heavyweight Champion, but he hasn’t been on television in a while. That changed tonight at Quake By The Lake.

Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho battled in a bloody match to cap off Dynamite this week. Then a brawl took place after Jericho tapped out that resulted in a melee as the Jericho Appreciation Society ran to the ring.

Suddenly, CM Punk’s music hit, and he ran to the ring, so he could save Moxley. After CM Punk took out the heels, he had a face-off with Jon Moxley. Then Moxley left as he checked Punk with his shoulder.

CM Punk played up his return to the crowd, and he proved his surgically repaired foot is okay by jumping around the ring. The fans were happy to see CM Punk return, but it was also noted on commentary that he isn’t cleared to compete just yet.
