Liv Morgan won the Money In The Bank match and then cashed it in on Ronda Rousey on the same night. She finally achieved her dreams and became the Smackdown Women’s Champion.
The former Riott Squad member defended her title against Ronda Rousey at the WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event. She won the bout under controversial means, and the match was also cut considerably short.
Liv Morgan was seen wearing an arm brace during her interview segment on Friday Night Smackdown last week. This led fans to wonder whether she was actually injured or not.
According to Fightful’s paywall, Morgan’s injury is a work. WWE’s prop department actually brought in the arm brace for Morgan to wear on Friday’s show. It is also not known whether she will continue to sell the injury or not.
Liv Morgan is set to defend her title against Shayna Baszler at Clash at the Castle on September 3. It remains to be seen how their feud will progress ahead of the huge event.
