WWE is taking the NXT brand on the road after a long hiatus due to the pandemic. That will help those Superstars out dramatically as they hone their craft in the ring, but you also never know when an injury might come around.

Tatum Paxley wrestled a singles match against Sloane Jacobs at the Gainesville, Florida house show on Saturday night. Sadly, that match ended with the referee calling off the contest after Paxley was kicked in the face and her chin smashed the ring post.

Medical staff was right on the situation and the match ended. Fans at the event noted that it appeared she broke her nose.

Tatum Paxley has a lot of promise in WWE, and her star is still rising on NXT 2.0. This is hopefully just a minor setback, and she can get back on the right track. If anything, you never know what can happen at a live event.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
