Sasha Banks and Naomi sent the wrestling world into a frenzy when they walked out on WWE during Raw on May 16th. WWE quickly retaliated by removing their mentions from everywhere. The Boss and The Glow were also stripped of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Sasha Banks and Naomi signed up for a non-wrestling related appearance in Chicago. The two were advertised for the C2E2, with their arrival set for this weekend. Sean Sapp reported Banks is still scheduled for the event amid WWE return rumors.

C2E2 has confirmed to me that Sasha Banks/Mercedes Varnado is still scheduled for the event, despite them deleting their tweet promoting it.

Rumors of their return started making rounds after Vince McMahon stepped away from WWE. The 77-year-old announced his departure last month and named Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan as co-CEO’s. Triple H became the head booker soon after.
