Sasha Banks and Naomi were thought to be finished with WWE after walking out on the company before scheduled appearance on Raw. A lot has changed since then. With Vince McMahon out of the picture, there are reports that the pair has agreed to make a return.

Many thought that return could come as soon as last night. Raw came and went without Sasha Banks and Naomi making an appearance. It now appears that is just a matter of time.

Dave Meltzer discussed Sasha and Naomi’s situation with WWE on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio. While nothing is set in stone, it appears both will be returning soon. Unless something drastic happens, Sasha Banks and Naomi will be returning to WWE.

“That’s what I’m hearing. If everything goes the way it’s expected to go, they’ll [Sasha and Naomi] be back. Yeah. It’s not… I don’t think that the deal was done. I mean, it’s been reported the deal was done. When I asked people in the company, it was basically, ‘Yeah, that’s what it looks like is going to happen,’ but it’s not like it’s 100% done or you know, everything’s been etched in stone, but the expectation is that they’ll both be back, which, there’s going to be that and I’m sure there’s going to be other people that were unhappy and will probably be back as well.”

At the time Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out on WWE, they were the reigning Women’s Tag Team Champions. With Bayley setting up a new faction with Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky, there could be a tailor-made feud to reboot the titles. It will be interesting to see how WWE handles their return.

Just weeks ago, it seemed unfathomable that Sasha Banks and Naomi would return to WWE. With a new regime in charge, anything seems possible. Now, fans will have to play the waiting game.
