Ric Flair finally got the opportunity to retire on his own terms. The Nature Boy teamed up with Andrade El Idolo against Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett inside a crowded Nashville Municipal Auditorium on July 31st, 2022.

Flair had been adamant in the buildup to the Starrcast event that he would retire after the match. However, that may not be the case as Flair hinted at yet another return to the squared circle in his tweet.

We’re The Dirtiest Players In The Game! @AndradeElIdolo & The Nature Boy Are Back At It Again This Weekend In Puerto Rico! WOOOOO!

One of the images from aforementioned tweet implies the two are heading to Puerto Rico to celebrate Flair’s 49 years in the business. No further details have been disclosed as of this writing.

Flair had an embarrassing incident after the farewell match as well. The Nature Boy went to a strip club called Tootsies and was so inebriated that he fell on the floor while using the restroom. We’re not sure how physical Flair will get at the Aniversario event, but we’ll just have to see if Flair is up for anything.
